With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darrell Mattingly of Loretto, Kentucky, born in Marion, Kentucky, who passed away on June 13, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Willett Mattingly, Sr. and Angela "Ann" Hutchins Leake; his stepfather Charles E. "Pete" Leake; his brother John W. "Bill" Mattingly; and his nephew John Michael Mattingly.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Kathy Mattingly of Louisville; his nephews, Chris Mattingly (Heather), Matthew Mattingly (Kate Dennis) and David Mattingly (Amanda LeDuke); his niece Sarah Mattingly; his great-nephews, Sylvan and Silas Mattingly; and his aunts, Rose Marie Covert of Republic and Nancy Westfall (Maurice) of Nicholasville.
