He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Edward "Lightning" Winfield. He is survived by: his mother Mary Alice "Sissy" Mattingly Winfield; his sister Cathy Winfield; and also Connie Mattingly. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins.
