It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Brenda Lucille Cecil (Loretto, Kentucky), born in Marion, Kentucky, who passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rob Gootee and Peggy Devine Gootee; and her siblings, Debbie Laswell and Billy Gootee. She is survived by: her husband Dean Cecil; her sons, Robert Cecil (Amanda) of Dant Station and Paul Cecil (Shelly) of Bardstown; her grandsons, Samuel, Matthew, Joseph and Peter; and her siblings, Bobby Gootee of Holy Cross, Steve Gootee (Lisa) of Holy Cross, Jason Gootee (Rachael) of Holy Cross and Patricia Mattingly (Steve) of New Hope. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
