Bob Cissell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bob Cissell of Loretto, Kentucky, who passed away on April 11, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Leo and Mary Zita Miles Cissell; and his siblings, Mary Geneva Walker, Mary Florence Sapp, Joseph Bernard, Joseph Harold, Joseph Anthony "Tony", Joseph Justin "Joe", Joseph Donald and Joseph Charles Cissell.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Jane Nugent (Ray) of Loretto and Joseph Leon Cissell (Rose) of Loretto; and his sister-in-law Norma Jean Cissell of Loretto. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mattingly Funeral Home (195 Holy Cross Rd, Loretto, KY 40037). A prayer was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (6785 KY-52, Loretto, KY 40037).
