With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Spalding Miles of Loretto, Kentucky, born in Springfield, Kentucky, who passed away on December 12, 2022 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her sons, Wayne Miles and Steve Miles, Sr.; her granddaughter Sydney Elizabeth Anderson; her parents, James Emmett Spalding and Mary Mildred Caldwell Spalding; her brothers, Pat and James Spalding; and her former husband R. V. Miles.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Hagan (Larry) of Loretto, Gail Medley (Doug) of Loretto, Kathy Greenwell of Bardstown, Linda Smith (Leo) of Saint Francis, Sandy Sharp (Todd) of Fort Myers, Mary Kay Anderson (Troy) of Louisville and Keith Miles (Karen) of Lone Grove, Oklahoma; and her siblings, Margaret Thompson (Edwin) of Springfield and Larry Spalding of Lebanon. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
