He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Frances Clarke Bell; his children, Beth Bell Smithson and Brian Bell (Paula) of Lone Oak, KY; his sisters, Charlotte Flowers (Charles Lee) of Crossville, TN and Shirley Macumber (Phil) of Winterset, IA; his grandchildren, J. R. Adams, Erin Vickery (Travis), Katie Carrier and Reese Bell; his great grandchildren, Ezra Vickery and Stetson Carrier; his daughter Carrie Downing Bell Adams; and his parents, R. A. Bell and Euleane Gardner Bell. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
