He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie James Houser and Ruby Clark Houser Bearden; his wife Carolyn Rhew Houser; his daughter Kara Houser Ford; and his siblings, Violet Eddings and Jewell "JD" Houser.
He is survived by: his son Kris Houser MD of Knoxville, TN; his grandchildren, Jorden Skipworth, Sydne Skipworth, Alexis Houser, Kaden Houser and Kelsey Turner (Brady); and his son-in-law Hank Ford. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
