She was predeceased by: her daughter Mediza Landers; her parents, Henry Chambers and Mary Chambers; and her sister Lula Buford. She is survived by: her husband Terry Thurston of Melber, Kentucky; her children, Tracy English (Tim) of Melber, Justin Thurston of Melber, Bobby Stokes of New Mexico, Michael Thurston of California and Brent Thurston of Symsonia, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Seth English (Hannah), Sierra English and Evan Stokes (Brittany Tucker); her great grandchildren, Gunner Stokes and Emersyn Stokes; and her sisters, Louise McIllwain, Phyllis Joyner and Greer Klesk. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Lone Oak (3745 Old US Hwy 45 S, Paducah, KY 42003). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
