He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hampton and Sue Fleming Hampton; and his brother Mike "Hammer" Hampton. He is survived by: his wife Meleasa Salsbury Hampton; his daughter Leigh Johnson of Kirksey; his stepsons, Josh Hicks (Renae) of Paducah, Derek Ellis (Victoria) of Mayfield and Cory Heflin (Adriana) of Paducah; his grandchildren, Madeline, Jace Charles and Kolbie; his stepgrandchildren, Blake, Dylan, Austin, Kyler, Kenzie, Wilder, Owen, Sophie and Olivia; his sisters, Suzie Atherton (Steve) of Paducah and Julie Scott (Derek) of Paducah; his brother-in-law Kevin Headrick of Paducah; his nieces, Hanna Scott and Jackie Headrick; and his nephew Kyle Atherton.
