She was predeceased by: her former husbands, William Earl Anderson and Arthur Sole; her parents, William Murphy and Cleo Grimes Murphy Thompson; her child George William Anderson of Betty Woodard; and her siblings, Melba Allen, Kenneth Thompson, Walter Lee Thompson, Sam Thompson and Russell Murphy.
She is survived by: her children, Melba Sue Sandlin, Cleo Soulages, Glenna Ruth Brown and Porshia Cortina; and her sibling Elizabeth Thompson Hayers.
