He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Glen and Ethel Whitaker Arthur; his wife Mary Jane Decker Arthur; and his siblings, Donald "Zeke", Larry (David Arthur), Betty Barnes and Debbie Ping (Althene Decker).
He is survived by: his children, Ronnie, Bobby, Eddie, Terry, Randy, Mike, Roger, Marsha Arthur, Gail Wyatt, Diane Schell and Jennifer McBee; and his sister Carolyn "Tootsie" Lederman. He is also survived by 38 grandchildren, 61 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild plus a host of other relatives and friends.
