He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Smith Hammons; his children, Justin John Hammons of London and Tiffany Jeans Cox (Josh) of Gray, Kentucky; his siblings, Tina Baker (Forester Jr.) of Keavy, Kentucky, Rhonda Mullins of Keavy, Kentucky, Tim Hammons (Heather) of London and Randall Smith of London; and his grandchildren, Jaylee and Zoey Cox.
