She was predeceased by: her husband J. A. Hampton; her son Ernest Russell Hampton; her parents, Gilbert Hammons and Tennie Hammons (Burkhart); her siblings, Lela Bowling, Ora Proffitt, Troy Hammons, Gracie Huff, Nannie Pearl Burkhart, Judy Hammons and Boyd Hammons; and her grandson Brandon Blanton.

She is survived by: her children, Bobby Hampton of London, Ricky Hampton of London, Kenny Hampton of London, Shirley McWhorter of London, Gerri Brown of London, Verna Hampton of London, Pansy Harris of London and Sue Sunderhaus of Hamilton, Ohio.; and her siblings, Vada Proffit of London, J. D. Hammons of London, Dorothy Smith of Cincinnati and Nancy House of Connersville. She is also survived by thirteen Grandchildren and eighteen Great-Grandchildren.
