It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Villis G. Garland of London, Kentucky, who passed away on January 14, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her former husband Walter Asher; her husband Bascom Garland; her parents, George O. Goforth and Dora Goforth (Crider); and her siblings, Clyde Goforth, Sarah R. Kirk and George O. Goforth, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Jerry Robert Asher of Harlan and Douglas E. Asher of Harlan; her sister Elsa Brown of Stockbridge, Georgia.; her grandchildren, Richard Asher (Lesa) of Burlington, Julie Baummer (Dave) of Pofftown and Doug Asher, Jr. of Harlan, Kentucky; and her great grandchildren, William, Samuel Baummer, Nathan, Jacob Asher and Madison Asher.
