She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Smith and Daisy Hammons Smith; her husband Walter Bowling; and her siblings, Verlie Burnett, Willa Dean Sizemore, Lawrence, Charles, Ray, Dewey and Glenn Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Walter Bowling, Jr. (Natasha) of East Bernstadt, Ernest Bowling (Melissa) of London, Melissa Kay Upchurch (Joseph) of East Bernstadt and Joshua D. Bowling (Sarah) of London; and her siblings, Ethel Pearl Richardson of London, Leroy of London, Estill of London, Wayne Smith of London and Carolyn Sue Caldwell of Bledsoe.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Bowling Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.
