He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Philpot and Mary Jane Bernard; his wife Norma "Susie" McWhorter Philpot; and his brother Thomas Lee Philpot. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Philpot of London, Kentucky; and his nephews, Quinton McWhorter, Darren McWhorter, Brad Martin, Jake, Cole, Jude McWhorter, Hunter and Kailey Martin.
