With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stanley Woods of London, Kentucky, born in Clay, Kentucky, who passed away on November 19, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Stanley leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Stanley may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Woods and Doshia Woods (Wagers); his wife Darlene Woods (Couch); and his siblings, Beulah Woods and Hoye Woods.

He is survived by: his daughter Reena Philpot (Earl Wayne) of London; his siblings, Roy Woods of London, Sylvia Woods of Oak Ridge and Lottie Burns of Lancaster; and his grandchildren, Korey Philpot (Kate) of Winchester and Benjamin Philpot (Sarah Grace) of Lexington. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 6:00 PM at the London Funeral Home (879 S Main St, London, KY 40741). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
