It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Wilson of London, Kentucky, born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on October 15, 2021, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Rawson and Margorie Rawson; her husband Elmer Wilson; her siblings, Phyllis Welsch and Walton Rawson; and her grandson Drew Wilson.
She is survived by: her sons, Randy Wilson of Hindman and Scott Wilson of Sandy; and her sister Janice Sterkel of Madison.
It is the families wishes that during the public visitation those wishing to pay their respects to the Wilson family please observe CDC guidelines by wearing facial coving while in the building, keeping social distance, and to enter the chapel by individual family and only to enter the chapel once those in the visitation area have left.
