She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Morris and Stella Morris; and her siblings, Linzie Morris (Hazel), Fred Morris (Sally), Dorothy Renner (Arlie), Virgie Kelley (Harold) and Pauline Hammond (Reuben).
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth B. Gilliam; her children, Kenneth David Gilliam (Debbie) and Felicia Collette (Todd); and her grandchildren, Kenneth Brian Gilliam, Lyndsay Shaye Collette and Kaylyn Raye Collette. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a love offering be made in Shirley's name to Hart Baptist Church.
