He is survived by: his wife Lou Browning Whittaker; his daughter Kay Cornett (Johnny); his grandson Leighton Cornett (Chloe); his sister Jackie Jones; and his nieces and nephews, Laverne Burns (Ken) and Kevin Whittaker (Jessica).
