He was predeceased by: his son Brian David Taylor; his parents, Sam Troy Taylor, Sr. and Maggie Hannah Taylor (Ivy); and his brother Walter Homer Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Tina Taylor (Holland) of London; his children, Dorothy Hannah Taylor of London, Cody Dalton Taylor of London, Troy Samuel Taylor (Summer) of London and Wesleigh Douglas Taylor (Danny Combs) of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; his siblings, Lillian Gregory (Estill) of London and Johnny Roy Taylor (Betty) of Lily, Kentucky.; and his grandchildren, Isabella Finley and Ryder Taylor.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to London Funeral Home toward funeral expense.
