She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilland B. McWatters and Newuel Folden McWatters (Highsmith); her husband James Hampton Woods; her daughter Jill Wilson; and her son-in-law Wade Hampton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Lawson (Rodney) of London, Jennifer Rush (Mike) of London and Karen Hampton of London. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
In leu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Laurel County Public Library.
