He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Schott and Mary Straub Schott; his wife Jacqueline Leach Schott; his siblings, Effie Chesnut, Elmer Schott and George Schott; and his half-siblings, Minnie Sauer, Helen Tackett, Lena Thurmond and Alfred Schott.
He is survived by: his children, David R. Schott of London, Joyce House (Durwood) of London, Carolyn Allen of London and Janice Collins (Dan) of Greensboro; his brother-in-law Ruben Leach of California; his grandchildren, Jennifer Ledford (Brent), Julie Adams (Matthew), Jaclyn Decell (Josh), Mark House (Sarah), Jakob Allen, Breanna Allen, Alex Schott and Seth Schott; and his great grandchildren, Everly, Emma, Luke, James and Graham.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donations be made to the St. John's Cemetery Fund at 323 Helvetia Road North, London, Kentucky 40741.
