He was predeceased by: his parents, John Garland and Mary Hodge Garland; and his grandson Rick Hodge of Berea. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Oakley; his daughters, Diane (Jim Kelley), Linda (David Cupp) and Marsha (late Rick Hodge) of London; his sisters, Nancy Reams of Middletown and Judy Inman of Sydney, Ohio.; his grandchildren, Dana Black (Richard) of Lexington, Leslie Ryser (Rocky) of London, Jeff Weaver (Rebecca) of Versailles, David Kelley (Angela) of London and James Kelley of Lexington; and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Anne Black, Robert Black of Lexington, Jillian Weaver, Charlotte Weaver of Versailles, Ross Ryser of London, Haley Hodge of London, Cole Kelley of London, Camden Kelley of London and Carter Kelley of London. He is also survived by three children.
