He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Vandeventer and Ruthie Chestnut Vandeventer; and his wife Roberta Ann Collier Vandeventer. He is survived by: his children, Debra Thompson (Kenny) of London, Kentucky, Gary Vandeventer (Patsy) of London, Kentucky and Linda K. Vandeventer of London, Kentucky; and his grandsons, Justin Vandeventer and Christopher Thompson.
