He is survived by: his children, Edna Powell Buttery of London, Kentucky, Rita Sturgill (Mike) of London, Kentucky, Lucindy Powell of London, Kentucky and Andy Powell (Michelle) of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; his brothers, Ed Powell of London and Homer Powell (Nina) of Cedar Grove; his grandchildren, Jeff Buttery, Daniel Hornsby, Natosha Smith, Chris Powell, Brandon Powell, Johnathan Powell, Andria Powell and Richard Bowling; his great grandchildren, Ariana Buttery, Kyera Buttery, Daniel Hornsby, Latosha Hornsby, Easton Cooper and Salem Kinley; and his close friend Easter Robinson Tincher.
