She was predeceased by: her parents, John Newkirk and Dorothy Ford Newkirk; and her brother Harold Newkirk. She is survived by: her children, Bonnie House (Mike) of London, Kentucky, Rita Ledington of Aviston, Illinois, Jen Rubinowtiz of Port Townsend, Washington and Joe Bushman of Blackstone, Virginia.; her sister Linda Bailey of Georgia; and her grandchildren, Jon Meadows (Drena), Ashley Martin (Chris), Sarah Polchinski (David), Kristina Kohlmiller (Jay), Lauren Heimbuecher (Adam), Joshua Ledington (Eliza), Cody House (Chelsea), Karlie Lafferty (Drew), Andrea Paige (Corey) and Jessica Hall (Tyler). She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren, along with a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bowling Funeral Home (1704 N Main St, London, KY 40741). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
