He was predeceased by: his former wife Alice Faye Slusher (Brock); his sons, Joey Slusher and Jason Slusher; his parents, Joe H. Slusher and Shirley Slusher (Brummett); and his siblings, George Slusher, Joe E. Slusher and Amanda Roark.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Brown (Halix) of London, Tim Slusher (Dolores) of London, Karen Fawn Bruner of London, Robin Marie Baker of London, Bridgett Sizemore (Jeff) of Fariston and Mark Slusher (Jewel) of Cocoa, Florida; his siblings, Clifford Slusher (Norma Jean) of London, Linda Ruth Cottengim (Bud) of London and Lucy Smith (Lester) of Oneida, Kentucky; and his stepchildren, Tony Asher (Ruth Ann) of Arjay, Karen Napier (Jerry) of Arjay, Teresa Robbins (John Wiley) of Arjay, Serena Lynne Roberts (Jody) of London and Sandra Hamilton (Jeff) of Knoxville, Tennessee.. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
