He is survived by: his wife Judith Redmond Hensley; his children, Leonard Eugene Hensley of Lily, Mary Sue Culley (Danny) of Lebanon, Indiana, Gary Wayne Hensley (Jennifer Shockley) of Lebanon, Indiana and Laura Ann Clark (Bruce) of Johnson City, Tennessee; and his sisters, Carolyn Pennington of Lily, Lenora Riggleman of Corbin, Jackie Riggleman of West Virginia and Marjorie Jones of Lebanon, Indiana.
