She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Prentice and Orba Prentice (Cox); and her siblings, Vernon Prentice, Jimmy Prentice, Peggy Cathey and Linda Prentice.

She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Benge of Chicago, Illinois and Denise Loy of Chicago, Illinois; and her siblings, Brenda Veto of Chicago, Joan Fast (Roger) of Fresno, Diane Suenkel (Hank) of Houston and Glen Prentice of Illinois.
