He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Ray and Bonnie Hampton Whitman. He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Whitman of London, Christina Whitman of Brandon and Jennifer Whitman of Louisville; and his sisters, Debra Garrett of Cynthiana, Tina Cosby of Harrogate and Kimberly Jackson of Frankfort, Kentucky.
