He is survived by: his wife Nellie Appleget Nicholson; his children, Tammy Samples (David) of London, KY, Shane Nicholson of Palm Springs, CA and Jason Nicholson (Chastity) of Houston, TX; his siblings, Velna Gilbert of London, KY and Stanley Nicholson of London, KY; his grandchildren, Joshua Samples, Hunter Nicholson, Kylee Nicholson and Chance Nicholson; and his close friends, Carson Allen, Gary Martin, Dwayne Minton, Rick Hacker and Tommy Nicholson.
