She is survived by: her husband Fred Phelps of London; her children, Matthew Phelps (Carrie) of Leesburg, Virginia, Elizabeth Dawson (Bart) of Shepherdsville and Sara Steinlage (Paul) of Bonner Springs, Kansas; her siblings, Bernard Heberer (Debbie) of Peoria, Christine Volz (David) of Pekin, Illinois., Steve Heberer (Jane) of Pekin, Illinois. and Margaret Straughn (David) of Pekin, Illinois.; her grandchildren, Benjamin Phelps (Diana), Lauren Phelps, Bernard Dawson, Mary Elizabeth Dawson, Henry Dawson, Joseph Dawson, Samuel Dawson, Emily Steinlage, Kathryn Steinlage and Joshua Steinlage; and her great grandchild Luke Phelps.

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Saint William Catholic Church (521 W 5th St, London, KY 40741-1845). A rosary was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Nazareth Home of Louisville, Charity Court, in honor of Maureen Phelps.
