She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Della Rader and William Luther Sturgill; her spouse Cleofus Thomas; her children, Kenneth Thomas, Billy Ray Thomas and Brenda Harris; and her siblings, Charles Sturgill, Ernest Sturgill and Dorothy Singleton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Burkhart of Versailles and Barbara Hayre of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; and her sister Alice Eversole of East Bernstadt, Kentucky.. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
