She was predeceased by: her husband Vernus Rudder; her parents, Harold Owens and Lucy Owens (Calebs); and her brother James Harold Owens. She is survived by: her children, Susan Cloyd (Greg) of London, Kentucky and Linda Twyman (Elra) of London, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Angela Clark, Amanda Smith (Travis), Ashley Cloyd and Matthew Cloyd; and her great grandchildren, Tyler Bates, Zachary Bates, Elizabeth Clark, Tanner Smith, Trey Smith, Kort Matthew Cloyd and Gadge McMullin.

In lieu of flowers the family of Mary Elizabeth (Owens) Rudder requests donations be made to: St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
