He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Louis Baker and Cynthia Barnes Baker; his grandson James Louis Baker; and his siblings, Gilbert, Larry Wayne Baker and Ruby Joyce Harrison.

He is survived by: his close friend Sue Waddle of London, Kentucky; his children, Elizabeth "Libby" Jones (Robert) of Lily, Kentucky, James "Humpy" Baker of London and Jon Baker (Robin) of London; his siblings, Bill Baker (Patty) of Temperance, Michigan, Harvey Baker (Tammy) of Somerset, Kentucky, Pauline Byrd (David) of London, Brenda Blevins (Ronnie) of London, Cathy Higginbotham (Keith) of London, Emma Smith (Farris Gilliam) of London and Jannie Davis (John) of London; and his former wife Gail Baker. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
