She was predeceased by: her husband Roscoe Hughes; her parents, Richard Brigmon and Vesta Fields Brigmon; her brother William Phillip Brigmon (W. P.); and her son-in-law Tommy Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Smith of London, KY and Roger Hughes of London, KY; her sibling Rometta Hensley of Fogertown, KY; and her grandchildren, Richard Smith, Amy McCowan, Melissa Smith, Tommy D. Smith, Cynthia Hoskins, Jennifer Allen, Wes Hughes and Sarah Barrier. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren; two great, great grandchildren.
