She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Fount Hopper; her parents, Charles Woodson Vandeventer and Hannah Malissa Durham Vandeventer; her son Melvin Ray Hopper; her siblings, Vintis Vandeventer Day, Gladys Marie Vandeventer Day, Curtis Vandeventer, Jewell Vandeventer Campbell, Wilburn Vandeventer, Geneva Vandeventer Farthing, Vernon Eugene Vandeventer, Lois Vandeventer Webb and Juanita Vandeventer; and her daughter-in-law Bettie Hopper.
She is survived by: her sons, Phillip Hopper, Vernon Hopper and Gary Hopper (Christal); her grandchildren, Austin Hopper (Courtney), Caleb Hopper, Aaron Hopper and Priscilla Hopper Ridener (Mike); and her great grandchildren, Ella Hopper and Eli Hopper. She is also survived by loving mother that took good care of her family.
