She is survived by: her son Thomas Joseph Smoot, Jr.; and her siblings, Janet Grimes (Eldon) of West Alexandria, Ohio, Mary Gill (Arthur) of Hamilton, Ohio, Judy Day (Bill) of Newark, Illinois and James Johnson of Richmond, Kentucky..
