She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Sam Thomas, Jr.; her children, Melissa Cheek (David) of Maysville and Dallas Thomas (Cindy) of Louisville, Kentucky.; her siblings, Glen George (Jewell) of London, Kentucky. and Roger Lee George (Vickie) of London, Kentucky.; and her grandchildren, Samuel Cheek (Katie) of Lodi, Georgia, Aaron Cheek (Samantha) of Polk City, Hannah Shepherd (Adam) of Madison, Elizabeth Freeland (Charlie) of Corbin and Leah Schember (Don) of Holly Ridge. She was also cherished by fifteen great-grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives, church family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to the East Pittsburg Baptist Church, 2048 East Pittsburg Church Road, London, Kentucky 40741.
