He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Branstetter and Hazel Martin Branstetter; and his siblings, Henry, Eldon, Loy, Jim, Daniel, George, Curt Branstetter, Bertha Craiger, Nina Lewis and Nancy Schott.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Carr Branstetter; his children, Roy Curtis Branstetter (Amy D'Angelo) of Pittsburg, Kenneth Dwight Branstetter of Pittsburg and Nicole Lynn Kimble (Scott) of Pittsburg; his brother Bert Branstetter of East Bernstadt; and his grandson Clayton Kimble.
