She was predeceased by: her husband Clyde Shackelford; her parents, Howard Alton and Mary Gladys Allen Onkst; and her daughter Karen Lee Deaton. She is survived by: her children, Judith Ann Gilbert (John) of London, KY and Melodi Joy Cornett of Lexington, KY; and her grandchildren, Jayson Deaton, Mark Deaton, Norval Deaton, Todd Deaton, Jennie Baker, Kevin Gilbert, Joshua Gilbert, Emerald Cornett and Magnolia Cornett.
