He was predeceased by: his parents, Garrett Gregory and Dora Brown Gregory; and his siblings, Nannie Mae Hoskins, Opha Curry, Gladys Gregory, Pearl Fields, Garrett Gregory Jr., Virgil Gregory, Ethel Hatfield, Lucy Moore, Willie Gregory and Estill Gregory.
He is survived by: his wife Marphessia Smith Gregory; and his sisters-in-law, Lillian Gregory and Beatrice Gregory. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
