He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Barnard and Nell Gross Barnard; his children, Zuma Williams Barnard, Richard Kevin Barnard and Rosalind Bogan; and his siblings, Charles, Mary, Ruby, James, Velma and Harold.
He is survived by: his wife Zula Williams Barnard; his daughter Rhonda Atwood; and his grandchildren, Shani Marie Atwood, Ruby Elaine Atwood, Christopher Douglas Atwood, John Paul Barnard, Kevin Scott Barnard, Sheli Ann Weiss, Adam Nathaniel Barnard and Matthew Garret Bogan. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, and many other extended family and friends.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts take the form of donations to that church or a charity of your choice.
