He was predeceased by: his parents, William Adrian Truitt and Sarah Elizabeth Pennington Truitt; and his siblings, Maxine Adams, Robert Truitt and Vernon Truitt.
He is survived by: his sisters, Virgilene Mink (Doyle Dale) of London, KY, Imogene Owens of London, KY and Muriel Lee Mink of Mt. Vernon, KY. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
