He is survived by: his mother Mary Rose Hornsby Burns of Manchester; his daughter Sonya McWhorter (Quentin) of Lexington; his grandson Quinn McWhorter; and his siblings, Bryan Burns (Michelle) of London and Elizabeth Bays (Ben) of Bardstown.
