He is survived by: his wife Kristy Morgan McFarland; his parents, Patrice Mefford of Stamping Ground and James Allen McFarland of London, Kentucky.; his children, Todd Michael McFarland of Georgetown, Jamie Erin McFarland of Morehead, Aaron Joseph McFarland (Clary) of Okinawa and Lacey Alisha McFarland of Georgetown, Kentucky.; his siblings, Larry Wesley Jackson of Louisa, Kentucky, Amy Curtis Jones of London, Holly Marie McFarland of London and Sara Danielle Garland (Scott) of Georgetown, Kentucky; and his nieces and nephews, Cashaus Agee, Eli Garland, Alianna Jackson and Kayla Jones.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers donations may be given to Civil Air Patrol.
