He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernie Mason and Rosie Jones Mason; his siblings, Donald, Loyal Fred Mason, Lois Mason Lamb, Easter Mason Johnson and Patricia Lynn Mason; and his daughter Trena Mason.
He is survived by: his wife Joann Overbay Mason; his children, Jamie Lynward Mason (Megan Bells) of London, Joey Lee Mason (Casey) of London, Joanie Lynn Adkins (Donnie Head) of East Bernstadt, Nelson Mason of Lexington, Nolan Mason of Conway, Kentucky, Nola Marie Mason of London, Regina Mason of Tennessee and Marlena Mason of Corbin; his siblings, Mary Burdett of Rockcastle County, Gail Kirby of Rockcastle County and Eugene Mason (Alice) of Rockcastle County; and his grandchildren, Brianna, Aiden, Connor, Lillie, Brantley Mason, Adrianna Adkins, Makennah, Austin and Aaron Bales.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to Bowling Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
