It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Martin Woodward of London, Kentucky, who passed away on November 29, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Buford Woodward and Gertrude Kelly Woodward Gilbert; his stepmother Kathleen Woodward; his son Keith Woodward; his siblings, Doyle Woodward (Marcella), Irma Adams, Teresa Chadwell and Lowell Woodward; his brother-in-law Earl Vaughn; and his children-in-law, Kandi Rea and Ronnie Hammons.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Woodward; his children, Anita Hammons of Lily, Jason Woodward (Jeannette McAleese) of Elizabeth and Houston Rea (Julie) of London; his grandchildren, Courtney Arnett (Shay) of Jacksonville, Jared Hammons of Lily, Isaiah Rea of London and Jaden Rea of London; his great grandchildren, Zoe, Jonah, Oliver and Milo Arnett; and his siblings, Lois Vaughn, Larry Woodward (Hilda), Faye Nicks, Ronnie Woodward (Vickie), William Woodward, Philip Woodward (Mary), Charles Gilbert, Timothy Gilbert, Beverly Gilbert and Rondell Gilbert. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
