He is survived by: his wife Peggy Proffitt Goforth; his children, Preston Goforth (Amy Caldwell) of Hazard, KY and Christy Goforth (John Miller) of East Bernstadt, KY; his siblings, Leota Robinson of London, KY, Hazel Manning (Johnny) of London, KY, Judy Lundy (John) of London, KY, Bill Goforth of London, KY, Ricky Goforth of London, KY and Juanita Staat (Paul) of London, KY; his grandsons, Justin Goforth (Tabitha Hale) and Jared Goforth; and his great grandchildren, Emily Ann Marie Goforth, Jaxon Goforth and Braxton Goforth.
